This side is made for my english speaking visitors. The other sides of my homepage will translate later. The starting point for this web page is the look of my camera of Murnau am Staffelsee in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This camera paints over a sector of approx. 450 km ² from the camera point of view up to the horizon. The camera should "analyze" not only this sector optically. The web page should also give some useful information (links) about this region. With region this sector of the administrative district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen which grasps by the camera is meant basically. With it some other important places of the administrative district are not mentioned at all.

The camera is in Murnau am Staffelsee with the location co-ordinates 47°40' 35 " N , 11°11' 57" E, on a height of 685 m (+8m house height), line of sight SSW or 220 °. The still grasped visible horizon is approx. 32.5 km away. The Zugspitze (highest mountain of Germany) is visible, the Hausberg not fare from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Partenkirchener Dreitorspitze, the Ettaler Mandl and more. The time given in the picture is the west-European summertime, so GMT+1h.
